Masons Arms’ appearance at Freedom Sounds Festival 2018 marks the return of one of Germany’s top bands to the scene. And there have been a few changes, starting with a reshuffled line-up, new songs and a new sound that is more organ- and guitar based. What has not changed is the band’s ability to match authentic ska and reggae sounds of the late 60s with clever German lyrics. “Von vorn”, their first single from their forthcoming new album will be released at the beginning of the new year.
